Is RSVP Sorted just an online RSVP form?
No. The form is one step. RSVP Sorted runs the whole RSVP process: importing and cleaning the guest list, branded invitations, reminders to guests who have not answered, one inbox for guest replies, live numbers, the final guest list download and QR check-in at the door.
Can Sorted run the event for us?
Yes. On a done-for-you event, Sorted sets up and runs the invitations, RSVPs and guest list on your behalf, on the same platform, for R17,825 per event including VAT. Tell us about the event and we will confirm the guest list size and timeline.
Can our clients sign in and see their own event?
Yes. Each client gets their own logins, and each person is switched on only for what they need: watching the live dashboard, approving emails, or running the event. A client never sees another client's events. See For event teams.
Does it handle check-in on the day?
Yes. Guests who said yes can be sent a pass with a QR code. Scanning it opens the pass, and anyone with check-in rights on the event checks the guest in. There is a door screen with search and a printable backup list too.
Pricing and billing
How is it priced?
Monthly plans start at R1,983.75 a month including VAT, and you choose a plan by how many guests you invite in a year. Paying yearly costs 10 months, so two months are free. A once-off event starts at R1,983.75. Every plan gets every feature. The full list is on the pricing page.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. One event with up to 50 invited guests, every feature, no card needed. It is available once per organisation.
Do plus-ones count against our guest allowance?
No. Allowances count invited guests only; plus-ones come on top.
What happens if we invite more guests than our plan allows?
Guests beyond the allowance are charged as extra guests at R5.75 each including VAT, or R5 each for businesses outside South Africa, where no VAT is added.
Do your prices include VAT?
RSVP Sorted is VAT registered. South African customers pay 15% VAT, and the rand prices on our site include it. Businesses outside South Africa pay no VAT. The billing country you give us decides which applies.
Can we sign up from outside South Africa?
Yes, as a business. Outside South Africa we sell to businesses only. Dollar, euro and pound prices on the pricing page are a guide; payment is taken in South African rand through PayFast.
Is there a contract or a setup fee?
No setup fee. Plans renew monthly or yearly until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from Billing.
What happens when we cancel?
Cancelling stops the next charge. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for; after that the account becomes read-only, and nothing is deleted immediately.
Do you give refunds?
Plans are not refunded for the unused part of a period, and once-off events, extra guests and done-for-you events are not refunded. Unused extra guests carry over to your next plan year, and a once-off event with no invitations sent can be moved to another of your events. A duplicate or incorrect charge is refunded in full. Guests and privacy
Where is guest data kept?
On a server in South Africa. Invitation emails are sent through Resend, based in the United States, so sending an email passes the guest's name and email address to them. Payments go through PayFast, and RSVP Sorted never sees your card number.
How long do you keep guest data?
Guest data for an event is deleted automatically after the event: 90 days by default, or a different number of days you set. It can also be deleted sooner on request. See our privacy policy.
Who is responsible for the guest list under POPIA?
You are, as the organisation that uploads the guests and sends the invitations. RSVP Sorted processes guest data only on your instructions, to run your event.
Can a guest stop the emails?
Yes. Every invitation email has a link to stop further emails about that event.
